I was never a friend of the flash (of the camera), does anyone agree that the flash makes your skin look more oily?

Sorry about the seldom posts on my blog! Once all my yearly exams are over (in about a month's time), I shall be free of homework and studying, so I can post more often. But for now, I'll just upload a post once in a while, while I'm stressing out about logarithms and derivatives and Jane Austen...
At least I'm multitasking - studying and listening to songs at the same time!

My weekends are now full of studying, but I wish yours would be more pleasant!

Starry Eyed

Guess what came in the mail today!?

It also came in this shiny silver bag...

Tada! (Not to sound very stupid, but that's the best word I can think of when I'm revealing something..)

There it was, my double finger cross ring, shiny and new. I love how there're those adjustable backs on the rings, so I can fit them on to whichever finger I want them to be on..

I didn't realise how wrinkly my hand was until I took photos of my hands, haha.

Can't wait 'til I wear them out! You'll definitely see them soon in my upcoming posts. I think I've been accumulating so many rings from the past few years I can dedicate a whole jewellery stand just for rings. Is this normal..?

Young, wild and free

It's been a while, this week's been really boring as usual. We had a biology excursion this week, pretty boring except that we got to touch some animals, I'd say they were pretty adorable. I guess that was the highlight of my week, besides the constant stressing of which subjects to choose for next year (year 12). It's between either Ancient history or Japanese..I hate them both (as a subject)! I am sitting here tearing my hair out (figuratively) while thinking about this issue and listening to Bruno Mars' Marry You. Besides that, my week has been good, how was yours?

I also tried painting some galaxy/cosmic-inspired nails, they turned out pretty bad and please excuse my extremely ugly cuticles, haha! I was so inspired by That's Chic's nails here (they were so stunning!), so I attempted to follow this DIY, but my nail-painting skills didn't match my expectation..

Last but not least, I snapped a photo of my dog waiting for me outside the door when we were about to go for a walk, I think I took a bit too long...

Marvin's Room

We had a mufti day today, it sucks here in Sydney, we only get to wear mufti on certain days, we have uniform on other school days! Ah well, I guess we can enjoy it more if we don't have it everyday. Today was very warm, it's as though summer's coming (of course it's not since it's still winter!), but I'm sure spring is actually on its way here, hopefully sooner than I expected. I've been desperate to wear shorts without stockings for a while now!

Oh, for my title this time, I chose a song which I have on repeat 24/7 ever since two weeks ago. It's the Marvin's Room Remix 2011, really good song if you can stand a couple of swear words and enjoy slow music with some rapping? Haha, bad description.

..and last but not least! A sneak peek of my newest DIY, I'm currently obsessed with fringing any fabric, so make sure you don't get your t-shirts anywhere near me, I'll start cutting them to shreds.
