Absence make the heart grow fonder

I hope it's true that absence make the heart grow fonder, because I'm about to be absent quite a lot on this blog. I'm actually going to be on semi-"hiatus" (I hate that word) for the next year or so until my HSC (end of high school test) finishes, but obviously once in a while, you'll still see me popping up to tell you about my boring life. I'll miss my normal life (which includes lots of youtubing, reading blogs, googling things, and tumblring). Meanwhile, I wish you all a good & enjoyable life, and until next time, farewell my friends. ♥

I'm out of outfit posts and I'm too busy to take any new ones, but I still got something for you!

I've recently put a blog shop up, and no doubt, I made up the most pathetic name for it - the rocket shop. I have no idea why it ended up being that, but I guess it's good enough for now, any good ideas for a new name though? Come visit my SHOP if you have time! :)

Now I understand what all the fuss about Year 12 is, it's really hectic. The workload, the stress, the pressure from parents, all coming at once. Writing and reading blogs is kind of a way for me to relax.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!

Here in Australia, we don't really celebrate Halloween as much, but I dressed up for the school's "Halloween-themed mufti day" today, so I decided to snap a few photos before I take the make up off.

I dressed up as a broken/abandoned/kind of creepy (?) doll, not sure if I did it right or not, but everyone who walks past seemed a bit freaked out.

back in those days

I was quite amazed when I flipped through the old photo albums yesterday, because I never really imagined my parents' life before they had me. It was fun looking back, seeing what they were like "back in those days".

I don't have a scanner, so I took photos of these old photos haha!

I'm totally having fun at school this week (sarcasm), Year 12 is so hectic! 

out of ideas

Whenever I'm out of ideas (outfits-wise) I always go to my parent's closet and steal some of their clothes. This time I "borrowed" my dad's coat, it was oversized and comfy. During the process of taking these photos, I also realised how awkward it is when your neighbours watches as you take photos of yourself!

The weather's getting warmer by the minute, and it's about time to say good bye to all the good old winter coats, blazers and jackets. I envy those who live in the Northern hemisphere, awaiting for autumn's arrival.

How wonderful would it be if my uniform looked something like this? I was messing around with random outfits today and also found a "Where's Wally?" book (or Where's Waldo, depending on where you come from) hiding in the back corner of my bookshelf..

Combat

Sorry about the lack of posts lately, but school had just started and there's less time for me to do things which I'd love to do, including taking photos for my blog. :( So here's a picture of half my outfit (kind of) when I had dinner at a steakhouse with my family yesterday.

On the other hand, I went out shopping with mum today, and just before heading home, dad pointed out that there was a shoes warehouse nearby and suggested that we should take a look.. 

This was when I went crazy over yet another pair of combat boots in a tan colour, for only $19.

Well, obviously I got them and now I'm so happy that I can hold them to sleep! (joking)

The worn look about it made me wanted it even more, it adds this vintage feel to it!

Lazy days

This is what my ombre turned out to be, I originally wanted it to be purple, but it turned red within two days, now it's slowly evolving into this bunch of dry, orange hay.

I've been pretty lazy with everything this week, laid back with my homework and all. But I've decided to take some photos of bits and bobs around my room, so here they are.

Birthdays

Hi guys! There's been a lot of birthdays lately and it's my mum's birthday tomorrow. We decided to celebrate it a bit earlier. So we bought a bunch of food and cooked a nice dinner, and had dinner by the candlelight. The above picture was just something I wore for the whole day.

I was responsible for the entrée, or at least that's what I thought it was, the salmon with avocado and mayonnaise. Being the typical me, I tried to make it look professional and delicious. 

*Note: I said "look" delicious, it doesn't necessarily taste that way!

I think I liked the first one better!

Anyway, I hope you guys all had some delicious dinner tonight (or last night, depending on what country you're in!).
